Activision has confirmed the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 release for the Nintendo DS revealing the handheld title will crafted by developer n-Space.
Having last week announced that Black Ops developer Treyarch would be responsible for creating the Wii-bound version of the latest addition to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Activision has added to the Nintendo MW3 line-up with the first official word of the DS release.
Having handled the DS releases of the past four titles in the Call of Duty franchise developer n-Space has once again been given the nod with series creator Infinity Ward responsible for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC titles ahead of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 release date of November 8th.
"They've done the handheld editions of COD4:MW, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops [pictured], and World at War, among many other DS games,” said Activision’s social media manager Dan Amrich on n-Space’s appointment to create the MW3 DS release. He added: “The DS version is also in expert hands.”
